My sister applied for citizenship in feb of last year. Those who applied after her have already taken the oath.
She hasn\'t received any finger printing notices yet too.

After she applied for citizenship she went through a terrible divorce. Her husband(now ex-husband) has DUI charges against him. She would like to find out if her exhusband\'s criminal history would affect her citizenship application in any way and hence delay in the processing of her case.

She wanted to find out if she needs to reapply for citizenship as divorcee.

Her ex husband\'s criminal history and divorce has nothing to do with her application,unless she is applying based on 3year (married to us citizen)residency.but since she has not received her FP yet, it is better to check the status of application by calling your service center.sometimes giving a call will jump start and if that does\'nt work call your congressman.
