Medical Exams

Hi Guys,
In 2000 when I applied for adjustment of status there was a new law that do not require the medical exams and finger prints but lately in this forum people are talking more about finger prints and less of the medical exams, I know that some part of the 1999 applicants did not include the medical exams, I would want to know if they were required now to do the medical exam since they are processing 11/16/1999.

Also I would love to be informed about how much it costs for each of these exams.
I will appreciate your answers as usual.
Thanks

First of all, there was no "new law". It was a change in BCIS policy.

They will send a notice to you asking you for a medical exam when they are ready to receive it. So just relax--they will get to you.

With regard to cost, it varies from doctor to doctor. Shop around.
