Name check is still pending since I485 was submitted in May 2005. Will go to Infopass today.

FP date 7/3/07. Was notified by CIS for my spouse background check is open. We confirmed a while back his check was clear in 2004.

but some of my other friends who were also stuck in name check.. got cleared.. and TSC IO says mine is still pending..

I dont understand.. why I am stuck.. and also dont understand how applications are being processed..

I dont have words to say / describe etc etc..

In my case:
RD October 8th, 2003,
2nd FP on May 9th,
LUD 06/30
no news since then. namecheck pending, but the IO I spoke to would NOT disclose the day the NC was initiated. A person from the local senator's office said he talked to the fbi and their response is 'even if the senator's office submits an inquiry this will be considered a low priority by the fbi, so I shouldn't expect any answer within the first 90-100 days from the day the inquiry has been initiated'

Looked through the latest thread posts: Gosh, my waiting time is 1-year longer than anybody's else! Anybody else with the NC from 2003 and older?
 
Biometrics Code3

Got letter from USCIS asking to appear for biometrics code 3 on 9/27/07(next week). No LUDs or msg change online.
As per infopass yesterday (9/18/07) NC still pending - initiated on 12/31/03 and another one on 1/6/2004. Why would USCIS send 2 NC requests to FBI within a gap of 5 days? Beats me.
4th AP approved last month. 4th EAD pending with USCIS.

Gurus - should I be hopeful?
