Yes I will reconfirm my date in a day or 2 and then book tkts. If it is indeed 30th Jan. I am lucky as air ticks prices fall to lowest starting 16th jan.
 
Sanjay it is odd.

djsr73 has P3 in system date Nov 10th and he got a Jan 15th interview.
My P3 in system Nov 9th and I got a Jan 30th date.
I will reconfirm.

I dont think they will give out incorrect dates over the phone.

Atcually only the month you are assigned the interview is depending on the P3 entry date. The actual date in the month is quite random. Noone knows what its based on. Some people have the theory it might be on case number.

I have seen a lot of people whose P3 reaches late but get interview earlier than other people.

My P3 was entered on 11/19 I have yet to call
delhi to get my interview date (if at all for JAn)
I have been following the PCC related posts,
my passport was issued in Delhi. What\'s the best
thing to do to get PCC, should I go ahead and apply atCGNY?
will I get it in time, or is there a chance to get from delhi
passport office in few days?

go ahead and apply at CGNY. Mostly, u\'ll get it before you leave, if not, you will have receipt that you applied. You can always try to get in Delhi later on.
 
No I did not. I thought I will give them a day before calling back. I will call them Sunday night.

Most probably it should be same. I will post my findings on Monday.

yesterday night called embassy, got the interview date -23rd Jan
So have to hurry with the plans now...will go to CGNY then for PCC
