I had applied for RIR LC with company A back in August 2003. This LC is approved recently in October 2006.
In the meantime while LC was pending, I switched to company B. I waited and waited for my company A LC to be approved. But, in the end I decided to switch to company B in June 2006.
Now, company B is sponsoring me for the greencard. They will file PERM LC next month.
My questions are:
1. Does having approved LC from company A has any effect on PERM LC by company B?
2. How long is the LC valid? If company A decides to hire me back in future for the same position, can I apply I-140 based on the approved LC.
3. I have been trying to get a copy of approved LC for company A for my records. But the lawyer is giving me a hard time. Do I need to have this?
