Landed Immigrant for 8 months no job - offer from US

Hi,

I am a landed immigrant in Canada and waiting for a job for last 8 months, but have an offer from US based company and they are ready to sponsor my H1B Visa and Green card after one month of employment.

Can a company in USA apply for Green Card after one month of employment. Also can I obtain 1 year RRP from Canada for work purpose in USA, and then either extent later or continue living in USA. What if I do not obtain RRP and return to Canada after 8 months or 3 years, will they allow me to enter in Canada.

Canada gives the 1st RRP fairly easily, however, it gets harder after teh first time, they don\'t like people to work in teh USA, what you can do is try to live in Canada and work in a US city that is close to Canada and travel everyday, many ppl live in Windsor, and work in Detroit, and YES US employers can apply for a green card after a month
