Hello there,

My wife just got in the united states on k3 visa which is valid for two years. Does anyone know when she will be getting her green card and s. security number.

any comments will be helpful...

You will have to apply for adjustment of status to get a green card. She should be able to get SSN with a K3 visa.

Hi,

To get her S.Security card, She must file the I-765 Application for Employment authorization. it usually takes about 60-90 days to get approve. once she has the approval documents, she can go to your local SSI office to apply in person.
