just arrived in the states, what now? DVI 2006 1-551 inquiry

Hi All,

OK here it is!
1. in my passport i have a whole page visa, from left to right is a pic of me, issuing post name, immigrant visa IV case #......... etc
at the bottom it states . "upon endorsment serves as a temporary I-551 evedencing permanent residence for 1 year". I also have a regular oval entrance stamp from Miami with the date I was admitted and says DVI under it. Now is this the stamp I am looking for for re-entry and work? as I need to leave the States and return within a couple of weeks to clear up stuff in OZ. Also is the registration #(8 numbers) my A# or is that somwhere else......AND THE USUAL QUESTION
2. when am i gonna get the plastic GC?

Now in USA

This visa will be useful to work until you get your GC. You will get the plastic in about 1 month.
