Job Change after Stamping ? Pls Help !

Hi Guys,

I got my PP Stamped a few days ago.
Still waiting for the plastic card.
In the mean time I have an oppertunity to become direct Consultant at my client on a lesser rate than my present company charges. But even at lesser rate , I will gain .

My question to you guys is :
1. Is there any risk to leave the company before I get the Plastic Card ? Do they have any Trick in their hats to revoke my GC , in case I leave them ?

2. If yes, how many days should I wait till I can make the switch ?

Does anyone have any documentation from Rajiv/Murthy on this issue ?

You can do it, as long as you pay check is better than what you are getting now stay for a month or so. Having said that I would be care full with the company on legal ground as you cannot go and work for you client, as you must have signed a contract (non-competency) with your employer. With this your employer can sue your ass off.
