Jail + GC relationship ??

I was asked by city court (i guess) to serve 2 days in jail for speeding at 102 mph at 65 mph zone, however... because of my previous good driving record settled the case by paying $1000 fine to the state department.

This was early last year.

My question to you all is.... will it create any problem in my greencard process?

I am about to apply for it and will be paying from my pocket. If at all any problem arises due to that case then I might not go for the GC....

Please let me know asap

moving voilations do not effect GC

Moving voilations and speed tickets do not hurt GC, if you have any criminal offence then its a problem.

Its better if you check with your attorney for further details.
 
Not a Problem

I dont think you should have any problem due to driving tickets or couple of days in jail due to driving. You should be ok, altough i would consult a lawyer just to be sure as you will be spending money for GC out of your pocket.
