My wife is on a J1 waiver and is subject to the 2 year home residency requirement. she has, however, obtained a waiver of the 2 yr home residency through the state conrad program and has to work in AZ for 3 years.
I am a management professional who is in the processing of applying for a GC and recently received the labor approval through the perm process (EB2 applied April 27 2006, certified April 29, 2006). I am right now in the process of applying for the i-140
Given the movement in the EB2, there might be a chance that my priority date might get current in the next 12-18 months.
Is it possible for me to add my wife to the green card processing, even if it means that she actually gets her green card after completing the three year employment in AZ while I get my GC sooner. I am hoping this way to avoid processing her GC again after 3 years.
I would appreciate any inputs on this.
