J visa application loop holes??????

hi all

i am an australian qualified plumber and am interested in working in the US for a bit. however i am finding it difficult to obtain a visa. however i have been reading up on some of the J visa for work in the us. here in australia there are a bunch of agencies that offere work in the US for 6-12 months if you are a full time student. i am not currently a full time student but i was wondering if i could find a loop whole by just enrolling in a uni, applying for the visa, and then simply just dropping out once i have the visa. would this work

It won't work. As soon as you drop out of the University, the University HAS to notify the Department of State and you have 30 days to leave the country. Since Sept 11, the government has increased its surveillance on people that come to this country on student visas.
