It is possible that VSC approved cases without security checks so now at the time of stamping they want to do that! I don\'t think this is the case with CSC though! Note that when CSC stopped (as per tracking data) processing still VSC was approving cases!

Sorry to hear that news. What reason were your I485 stamping denied?

Where is "Newark"? I know one which is close to NewYork/NJ and I am sure it comes under VSC. I expect all local INS offices under VSC to follow VSC. Let\'s say if it is the same Newark then I guess they do follow what VSC says rather than CSC! If it is some other city that comes under CSC then I guess I am wrong with my guess!

Newark is in NJ.
here are the details. This is happening to everyone who is going for stamping in Newark,NJ. The officer said that they are not stamping anyone and they took all my documents ( AP,I-94,.. ) but she returned my EAD and original approval letter. She said that all applications have to clear the IBIS check and then she will notify me via mail and then i can come for stamping.
