We had our interview May 2004, at the Bloomington office. We didn't have a lawyer with us and from the questions that were asked there would have been no need for one. I was approved and my passport stamped that day. I would say that if all your paperwork is in order and you have nothing to hide, there is not much need to spend the extra money on a lawyer.
