Hi, I am filing the green card for my parents. My mom is 59 years old, and my dad is 60 years old. We went to a civil surgeon for the medical exam, and he said that he does not have vaccine for "influenza" because it is out of season.
Per the USCIS website, vaccine for influenza is required from Oct 1st to Mar 31st.
I tried calling couple of more doctors, and stores like Walgreens. They all are out of the flu shot.
- Has anyone else encountered this situation?
- Is there any other place that offers flu vaccine?
- If we cannot get the flu shot, what is the right language to write on the I-693 form?
- Can USCIS reject our application (or, send an RFE) for not having Influenza?
