Please bear with me as I have a couple of questions.
I am an Indian Citizen currently based and living in the state of CT. I am currently engaged to be married to my fiancee(who is an American Citizen) in the next month but will not have the Wedding till late 2004. I have a few questions to ask and hope that you can answer some of them to assist me:
1. What is the quickest way to get married(legally) to speed up the process of me filing my paperwork. Something like Vegas where I can just get everything done in one place without the hassle of going from 1 place to another. Also, it needs to be closer to the CT/NY region as that is closer to me. Can I just got to court and get married in 1 day??
2. The papers/forms I need to submit after marriage. I-485, I-864, I-864-A, I-130. I am currently on a I-765 (F-1 based OPT) which expires on 03/04. Should I also file another I-765 (till my I-485) will get approved. Also, do I need to file any other forms?
Please let me know and help me in this situation. I will really appreciate it.
