I got my GC two years ago through NIW and have been working in the same lab since I applied for my GC. I want quit my job and stay at home. Will this be a problem when I apply for citizenship?

After I become a citizen, I want to sponsor my parents to apply for GC. If at that time I do not have any job, can I still sponsor them?

Thank you very much.

I don't think that would be an issue for naturalization. Not having a job is irrelevant for naturalization. However, it might lead to questions on how do you support yourself, to make sure you don't do it through gambling or any other illicit activity.

For your parents I don't know if it might have an impact related to affidavit of support. I really don't know.

No, not unless you have a co-sponsor (could be your spouse), or you have enough assets to show that you can support them without working.
