I140 and I485 concurrent file and I140 approved, I485 Pending Thread

TSC's approval rate..

Per immigrationwatch.com, TSC has approved 576 I485s between 3/1/05 and 3/21/05. That (if true) is really great news....looks like they are approving 40+ cases everyday (just counting the working days!!). And this is way faster than VSC and CSC.

The last three approved cases have received dates of Dec 04.

Where do they get data from ?

I see some cases filed in Dec 04 are approved per immigrationwatch.com
My question is do they have any relation to actual cases approved at any service center, if yes then what it is.
This data must be factual data based on which they are doing all statistical analysis.
Any ideas / thoughts .

Here's another observation...

When I checked the recently approved cases for I-140 it didn't list mine. Maybe others can check for their SRC #s under I-140 and validate the stats.

As my case wasn't there - it could mean two things:
- They don't have all the approved cases (which is good news)
- Their stats are incorrect.........(bad!!)

Lets see what others have to say.....

Can't figure out....

..... why they have completely stopped on the 2003 (I-485) approvals. Even 2002 approvals seem slower than the pace we saw for 2003-04 approvals.

1.for all members, they want to correct incorrect stats, so I wouldnt follow immigrationwatch.com stats.
2.Got fp notice, ead approval, ap approval all yesterday.fp date 05/13. will do early.
any trend anywhere as to how long its taking after the fp?(especially early fp in atlanta)
 
what day and time are best to get early (walk in) biometrics done in atlanta?

I tried to get this done on friday last week around 2 pm, but there were too many people.
Does anyone know when I can walk in and get the biometrics done, without waiting too long?( This is way before the actual appointment which is on -5/26/05)

My Update

A RFE was issued for my case on 04/01/05. My attorney hasn't received it yet, hopefully a fairly straightforward one. I am just releived that my case is up for adjudication, at long last......

Confused ????

I have a confusion. What would happen next for me? I did my FP over weekend. Got LUD's on 4/4 and 4/5. Now I am in EB2. Will it be processed by Receipt date which is dec 2004 or by my priority date which is Mar 2002? How will they pick up the case? Will they wait for the processing date to reach dec 2004 pick it up then and process it? or they should know that my priority date is current and FP done, process it in near future?

Does some guru have information on how I485 is processed. Some people tell me that it goes by rcpt date, but some say maybe eb2 should go by priority date.

I think for your case, if your name check is cleared and no RFE, yours should be approved soon.
