My both I140 and I485 have been approved today!

I have been waiting for freedom for 6.5 years (my LC is still pending at a backlog processing center with PD May 2002). Fortunately my NIW case has been approved today - it took only 6 months.

I wish to everybody to be lucky and enjoy your freedom soon!

thank you.

I bought two packages from http://www.greencardapply.com/service.htm

1. Complete Do-It-Yourself Package for National Interest Waiver
2. Complete Do-It-Yourself Package for RFE of National Interest Waiver.

The packages helped me much in my file preparation.

It seems it is now $59 per package.

Good luck.

Thank you Oberton

Thank you very much. Why didn't you buy I 485 Petition package? Is the Ref package useful?

The I-485 is a relatively simple form to complete. Doing it oneself can save one $1000+. Of course there are some complications related to your case such as past history of lost status, income tax improprieties etc., employment related complications etc. then you might want to hire a lawyer.

I did not prepare the petition myself - my lawyer prepared it. I bought the mentioned packages in order to improve the cover letter, which is the most important thing in NIW.

Also my NIW was employer based, rather than self petitioned. They say it is more approvable.

RFE package was also useful, it helped me to avoid potential questions from VSC.
