Greetings. I'm new to this board, but I hope that someone can help...hope I'm not repeating something. I am sponsoring my husband on a CR-1 visa, but I am a full-time student. I miss the income reqs by 3-4,000 and certainly don't have 15,000 in the bank to cover it. Would tuition remission count as a source of income? It is part of my fellowship/employment at my university. Thanks!! I haven't been able to get a joint sponsor and I don't know what else to do!! I'd go the K-3 route and I could meet the 100% guidelines, but then I'll be out of the country for 6 months for research and won't be able to make any interviews, etc to adjust status here...and then will have the same income issues anyway!! HELP!
