I sent I-864 for my wife's I-130 case. I followed James shortcuts and sent them the 2008 W2s as I did not file the tax yet. It is still with my tax preparer and he is going to file this week. I got RFE saying that they require my 2008 tax return as well.
My question is, can I send them the 1040 as I get those from my tax preparer or do I have to send the transcript once its available? Also, how long does it take for the transcript to be availabe from IRS?
What is my best option here to proceed on this ASAP. Please advise
