Hey..I applied I-751 on 02/01 and my GC is expiring on 02/10. Checks are cashed and i wam waiting for NOA. But what will happen if i don't receive NOA before 02/10? Can i still stay legally?

As long as you filed before your deadline, the Receipt Notice will extend your card for one year automatically.

Then you make an infopass appointment to query your case. Take proof that your cheque was cashed.

Even before the fingerprint appt, you should get a receipt. Didn't you include a G-1145 for e-mail/text messages?

No, i was not aware of G-1145 form. It looks like i have to make an inforpass appointment to get a receipt. Thanks!

No, you won't get a receipt through infopass. It is generated elsewhere by a computer and comes by mail.

Do you have "emergency travel plans"?

Do you have to "prove your legal authorization to work" (which would be an illegal act upon the part of the employer at this point unless it's a brand new job)? Even then, they are not all complete morons on this situation.
