I came from work today only to get my FP notice and my appointment is actually Thursday 2oth November 2009@ 300 pm.

I am so delighted. I hope you get yours soon since we have the same dates.

Yea we are on a roll! I live in Syracuse temporarily and where i work i am literally 2 mins walking distance to the application center. Therefore i am thinking of just doing a walk in. On the other hand i feel as if it does not make a difference sometimes and to besides my date is not that far anyway.

I have not received my bio appointmen letter
... but I know it should be arriving soon.

I also tried to add my case number on my on-line account so I can get email update but it says receipt number not found, anybody has this same problem? How soon should it show up? My papers was received in Vermont on 10/20/09 and I received I797 on 10/28/09.

You should use the EAC# in your fingerprint letter to check the status. The REC# in the receive notice don't work.

I have not receive the finger print letter yet, I am using the number on the I797. It does say EAC-(followed by 10-digit number), maybe it takes time to show up online?

Well mine been showing up online from the EAC NO on my FP letter. I am not sure why yours did not show up. I thought you already got the letter. It will come soon

LUVBIE THE EAC ON THE I797 WILL NOT WORK, you have to wait till you receive the EAC ON THE FINGERPRINT, letter then that number will be able to show you the case status and what not~~~

As soon as you get ur letter you will be able to locte case online . The no that I used from the notice was different to the one i got on the FP letter.

I am hoping to get it this week, if not, I will call Monday cause I am worri4ed that if it got lost in the mail and my appointment is same as your then I will miss it. Thanks for the support.

Had biometric taken today. Went pretty smoth, I was out within 20 minutes. Let's see now if I get an interview or send the 10 yr. green card in the mail. I hope all the documentation I submitted as evidence is sufficient.

Euly29, finally got my FP letter today. I am scheduled on 12/1/09. I maybe doing aa walk-in though cause I doubt I could get this day off from work.

Does anyone know if USCIS is open the day after thanksgiving? I plan to go that day.

I'm pretty sure they'll be opened, however, I don't think they will move a finger for you after all the Turkey they ate the night before...

Okay i had my FP taken today in syracuse and it took me literally 5mins. We have to wait all over again. The next wait is my 10 yr green card. Lets hop everything goes smooth.

I did my FP yesterday. It was pretty quick. I came in 30 minutes earlier, and they accomodated me without having to wait for my actual appointment time. Now, the waiting game starts.

Hey Euly, did you file with CSC or VSC? I heard CSC is faster. I filed at VSC since we are comparing our progress.
