I 751 and approval e-mail question

I just found out that my online account with USCIS had a wrong e-mail address. I just fixed that. But just to confirm, when you receive the approval e-mail, does your online case status (where you just type the reciept number ) also gets updated? (just in case I missed it :))

if they update your account them may send you an email, but not all the time. So if they email you it means they did update your account, but they can update your account and not email you. It happened to me a lot :)

SO take it easy buddy and wait till it falls out of the normal processing time, then you can complain ;)
