Have you received public assistance in the United States from any sources, including the U.S. Government or any State, county, city, or municiaplity (other than emergency medical treatment), or are likely to receive public assistance in the future?

filing my form I'm stuck at this part, since I've applied for Federal Student Aid 2009-2010, am I concerned?

It should be a YES

In reference to my own application which has been approved within two months. I answered that question by a YES because I benefited Pell Grant and even food stamp. So you should yes if you recieved such a pubilic or governmental assistance.
Nothing I'm saying is true though, but I"m only refering to my own I 485 application.

I think u right cause as I ve applied for FSA Im likely to receive "public assistance"

hey,I answered yes on that question b/c I was getting food stamps,but I did not put any supportive letter explaining why I said yes...do u think it could delay me getting a gc?
 
Im sure u should answer yes,if u were getting ANY HELP FROM STATE OR GOVERNMENT(MEDICAL,FOODSTAMPS,CASH AID)
