Folks,
Can someone please help me with my question? Is it ok to schedule and infopass appointment (speak with an immigration officer) before the TSC I485 processing dates are 30 days past my RD?
I just wanted to find out if my namecheck is cleared. I'm having tough luck on the phone.
 
Enquiy about I 485

Hi Guys,

Yesterday I called 1(800)375-5283, then 1-2-6-1. It connected to CSC, she asked me to enter the src number to connect txc. I followed that. I got info like my clearance claim is pending. I asked her when it was initiated. She told that she does not have that info.
In the following link 41/117 I read:

USCIS systems do not automatically indicate when a delayed name check is complete and the case can be adjudicated. Often, this leads to situation where the validity of other checks expire before USCIS reviews the case. Those checks need to be reinitiated adding financial and time costs for applicatns and USCIS.

I just called USCIS 800 number to ask my 485 case status. I talked to the rep. after 10 minutes waiting time. All she said was that my case was received in TSC in 3/29/06 and asked me to allow six months for them to work. She does not have any info. per FP or name check and etc. She told me that to call them again in 60 days when september 29th comes????

The lady was nice, but she does not have any information at all. Is there any number better than this?

I've got an LUD on I485 on 07/27/06 without any change in message...

However I just went for my infopass appt yesterday too.. Does an infopass appt trigger a LUD?
 
why you had infopass? you got yourself or they asked you to get? did you asked about your I-140 also or no?

When do they start new Visa Numbers

Hello All,
Now that they don't have Visa numbers till next year, will they start working on pending cases the moment the new Visa numbers are available on Oct 1st 2006?

How to know if AOS is transferred form CSC to TSC

Hi,

My AOS was filed with CSC in May 2005. I dont know if my case is still with CSC ot it is transferred to TSC.

How did you guys find out ? CAn you Please let me know.

If your case got transferred, you should receive an email and LUD and a snail mail telling you that your case was transferred. If not, your case is still in CSC.
 
Any I-485 updates from Oct 2005 filers and question about EAD/APextension?

Hi,
Any I-485 related updates from those of you who concurrently filed I-140/I-485 at CSC in Oct. 2005, had their cases transferred to TSC and got I-140 approved in June/July?

I had a I-485 update last on 07/08/06, nothing new, and am wondering how many similar cases are out there. Are we supposed to follow up with enquiries at TSC or InfoPass or anything else? Do any of you know whether your name check/background check is done or pending?

Also, my first EAD/AP was also filed and approved from CSC. I-140 approved after transfer to TSC. I-485 transferred to TSC. My receipt nos. start with "WAC".
Now, I want to e-file EAD/AP extensions. Should I file at CSC or TSC?

LUD still 05/22/06, no change

guys,

My LUD is stuck on 5/22/06 saying my case was received in TSC for 3/29/06. I140 was approved on 7/18 and I did my FP in April. Anybody transferred from TSC in March recently got their 485 approved?

Got email today that my I485 was approved. Still waiting for my husband's I485 approval.

My details:

PD: November 2002 (EB2, world: MS+2 or BS+4)

I140 RD: Sep 27, 2005, AD: March 2006 (Yes, the requirements included BS+4, but was approved as EB2. I had MS+4.)

I485 RD: Apr 27, 2006, FP: Jun 15, 2006, Transfered to TX: Jun 21, 2006 AD: Aug 8, 2006

My husband also have EBGC filed through PERM this year, so we both have 2 sets of AOS packages. Looks like the approval was triggered by response to RFE to my husband's I140, that was received by TSC couple days ago. According to LUDs they looked to all our I485s and my WAC case was ready for approval.
