I-485 approved 1 day after 140

Always nice to bump into another fellow human being with a penchant for phrases like "transendental idealism". :)
I so look forward to the days when I can spend my after work hours pondering and discussing Kant, rather than USCIS.
At the time being, idealism to me means to transcend the little piece of plastic created by some other fellow human beings.

My I-485 and wife's I-485 were approved one day after I-140 was approved. Just want to share my case experience with you. We got I-485 RFE on 2/18. Attorney returned my RFE on 3/4. For some reasons, attorney did hold my wife RFE. My LUD for I485 was only changed for receiving RFE message. Attorney told me those are different cases. Even if my wife RFE didn't response back to NSC, it would not affect my process. I think he is wrong. After 2 weeks waiting, I did not see any progress in my case. I keep asking him to file my RFE response. Finally he filed on 3/24. NSC updated case on 3/25 for receivng RFE meesage. Then my wife's LUD is changed on 3/28(monday), 3/29(in the morning), but my case kept still. My I-140 was approved at 9:00(EST) on 3/29. Our I-485 were approved on 4:30 pm(EST) nest day(3/30). From this scenario, I make assumption which NSC was waiting all of our family cases to process I140 and I485.
 
Congrats, iwaitforgc. Both of us have same labor PD, May 2001. NSC may work I-485 by labor PD.

Congratualtions to all who got 485 approved. My Pdate is also May/2001 and my i140 got approved on 3/28/2005. Your approvals given me lot of hope... holding my breath ...I have given my FP recenltly (3/3/2005), but no lud change yet.

Congrats and one of my friend recently got his passport stamped in chicago. Guess, all you need to do is fix up an appointment online, go and get it stamped.

BTW : I also need to goto chicago soon after I get the notice (whenever that may be...)
