I-485 application transfered to Local office

Hi, there,

Thank you all to help me with my previous question about the fingerprint.
I just got an email notice that my I-485 has been transfered to the local office for processing. Can you please tell me: what kind of process are they going to do in the local office? How long will it take? Have the FBI done with the name check? Thanks a lot. I will keep you updated.

Can somebody please reply to my questions? I am so worried about it since I heard only a few cases will be transferred to the local office. I don't know what it will happen. :-(

Do not worry. Some people think almost all NIW cases are being transferred to local offices for interview. You are very lucky to be transferred so soon after filing, waiting time for interview starts from the date they receive your file. See my signature...
