Hello everyone,
I am starting this thread since I am finding myself in a rather interesting situation. I am in a relationship with a woman whom I had met when she was going through a divorce. While we have been together for a over year and are in love, she had just gotten divorced (August 2023) due to constant delays in the process. We have been talking about getting married for quite some time now. I am 14 years younger than her, she has a little daughter who loves me with all of her heart. What are some of the risks associated with me marrying her and what is the good timeline for us to marry and for her to sponsor my green card application? I am under my parents’ asylum immigration case which was referred to an immigration court (February 2025).
