I-130 approved at the local office.

I am a USC applied for my wifes AOS in 2005,had 2 interviews,2nd one in july 2007 where I was told I have been approved but he had to look at the documents and i will receive a letter in a months time.I waited for 3 months and went to the local office,where I was told that the IO who interviewed us has been transfered to a different dept as he had cases pending for 4-5 years and they have to give my case to another IO.3 months after this i went to my local office and i found out that my case has been given to a different IO,I requested to see the officer for which I waited for 4 hours and then some one other than the IO comes out and gives me a letter of I 130 approval and said that I will receive a letter for the FP for my wife for I 485 and then my wife will receive the GC.
Has any one been in the same situation.How long will this take before she gets her GC.
