I-129 petition : Passport Number

Hello All,

I have a question on I-129. I have a approved I-797. When my attorney submitted the H1 extension petition he had mentioned my old PP number, now last month I got a new PP and I am going for stamping in Dec

Could you please advise if its ok to have the old PP number on my I-129 or should I get 129 amended.

-----------------Old PP number on I-129 is not a problem.

-----keep both the passport stapled when go for visa stamping.

I forgot to mention one other important thing ... My situation is same as described above .. But the I-129 has a wrong PP number, I mean it is not my old PP number .. As I said earlier my old PP is expired and now I have a new PP...

Is it a problem having a wrong PP number on I-129? My attorney says its not a prob since I have a new PP now ... please advise ..
