I applied for an EAD, and recieved the official form acknowledging the process of it on August 4th 2014.
However the site said that processing time for the Texas Service Center Was 3.3 Weeks, and national Goal 3 Weeks. However, it's been 2 months and a half (10 Weeks, 7 Weeks over the estimated, or "regulatory" time) and still no answer, i check the site with the receipt number and it's still sittign on "Initial Review".
Has anybody applied for a first-time EAD document and taken this long? Apart from the 150 days and the hardships one goes through this much waiting time is an increible amount of stress for me.
I hope other experiences on recent applications will shed some light for me.
