How do I know if INS got my RFE

Sent RFE for birth cert for parents and verified that it got to Lee's summit. I tried checking the status online and it couldn't find my records.
Any clue how I'd know if they got my RFE and have now resumed processing the cases? Thanks guys.
 
You can try and call the 1-800 # and ask to speak to an immigration officer. They should be able to tell you what the status is regaring the RFE.
