Here is the situation.
I am currently doing my residency on a J1 visa and still have 2 years of my medical internship left.
1. If i resign what will my status be. How many days before i have to go back to my country.
2. If i find another employer within that time frame willing to sponsor a new DS2019, do i have to get a new J1 visa in that case or can i just stay in the country till the new DS2019 is approved.
3. Also, if i go back without finishing my program will the 2 year home residency rule apply in this case.
