Help me understand my LUD changes?

Hello All,

"On September X, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done."

Today, when I called the 1-800 number, it is saying that a decision would be made within 60 days. Does this mean my file would be processed within 60 days?

We got the same message after getting a receipt notice of our RFE reply. Two days later we received approval email. Today Sept 26, we got our cards in the mail. I hope you will have some good news SOON!!!
