My wife has a 3 year bachelor's degree, 1 year Post Graduation from IGNOU and about 5 years of experience (not in IT :( ) With my GC dates not moving forward I am thinking of getting her trained in QA. So that she may try to get a job as a junior QA person.
Would it be possible to get her an H1B visa under this condition? Does she meet the eligibility criteria for the H1B?

It is not clear for her BS major and nature of 5 yrs work exp.

It is not necessary that one must have IT exp to get H1, there are several field eligible for H1. (Accounting, finance, engineering, dieticians etc)
