H4 Revalidation Question, Interesting scenario

My wife is on H4 of my old employer till Aug 2002, I spoke to my lawyer about applying his H4 from my new employer but he says we don\'t have to till there is 60 days to expire.
I was planning to go to Canada to get my new H1 stamped, which has already been approved.
My question is can she go with me to canada and based on my approval and company letter requesting "issue her h4 visa" the way we did when she first got her H4 stamped in India.
Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Yes She can...

Just to be safe do it before her current I94 (H4) expires. So that even if it is denied , you can come back and apply for H4 extension.
