Dear All,

My H1B visa is under processing and my passport is getting expire in Jan 2014 and so can you please

suggest on below questions.

  1. Is it advice to go for stamping with the present passport? OR
  1. Should I get my passport renew and then attend the interview with new passport? OR
  1. Get stamp on the present passport and can I fly to US with 2 months of valid passport.

PS: I had stayed in US for more than 2 years.

H1B Visa processing time depends on your Case location. You can get your H1B Visa in your current passport. After that, once you enter U.S, You can renew your passport by filing Form DS-82. You can continue with your renewed passport without affecting your H1B Status.
