I am currently working on H1 visa as a mechanical engineer and have prospective client ( other company) who is willing to hire me as his engineering manager. I am very keen about this position and would gladly grab it.
However their is a deliema ... the thing is I am not sure if the exsisting H1 can be transferred for me to take up this new position. I am talking about change in primary resposibilities I currently have to proposed new position.
So my question is; do I need to apply for new H1 visa which won't be available till Aug 08 or can I have my exsiting H1 transfered? ... please comment. Also if you have better idea, please do not hesitate to propose.
