I had applied for H1b transfer and my receipt date is July 11,2007 .
Can any one got approval near around my date?
please let me know

At VSC H-1B extensions take 5 months to be processed right now.
I know your H-1B petition is for change employer, but if it also contains extension of stay beyond expiration of your current I-94, your petition may not be processed until December.
 
my receipt date is June 29th in VSC. H1 transfer was approved October 9th.
So you will hear from them very soon.

H1B Extension normal processing time is 90 days

Hi all,

Just to share with you all.

I have called USCIS customer service. currently at VSC , normal processing time for H1B extension / H4 extension cases is 90 days. if your case falls out of normal processing time , you can directly call them & ask them to consider your case.

USCIS customer service execute said that they honor the case based on actual receipt date ( ** Not the Notice Date) .

Hope this information will help people who is outside normal processing time. Even for H1B Transfer cases , you can call up USCIS & find out what is normal processing timeframe ?

My Case
H1B / H4 extension ( family) at VSC
Receipt date : 08-Aug-2007
Notice Date : 15-Aug-2007.
Case Status : Pending

Hopefully should receive any updates by 08-Nov-2007.

Hi all,

Finally my wait is over.

I have got my extension approved today.

H1B / H4 Extension
Receipt Date : 08-Aug-2007
Notice Date : 15-Aug-2007
Approval Date : 07-Nov-2007
Approval came on 89 th day ( 90 Days normal processing time)

PS: If your case is out of normal processing time or close to normal processing time do call up USCIS for latest updates...:):)
 
I transferred my H1B from one employer to other. My first 3 years got over on Sept 30th. But I transferred my H1B on Sept 20th. Receipt date Sep 26,2007.

I need to go to India for my siblings wedding in January. In USCIS site, it is mentioned that they are processing June 4th 2007 cases. But here I see Kalasi's case got approved. I am not sure if I should go to PP or wait until December.

Members, please update your case status once you receive approval, that would help me (and ppl like me) to make any decision.
