- Both my husband and I currently hold independent H-1B visas.
- My husband's I-140 was approved in August 2022, and my employer is preparing to start the I-140 processing for me.
- My H-1B visa expires in August 2024, and it maxes out around May 2025.
- My Employer is in the process of filing my H-1B extension.
- We are considering applying for H-4 and H-4EAD visas with a future effective date in late 2024 or early 2025 without affecting the pending H-1B extension.
