H1B Re-entering US from Canada

I am on H1B (NOT stamped on passport). I will visit Canada for 2 days then come back to US. Do I need an employment letter when re-entering the US? Or do I simply need to show my H1B approval notice? Anybody has this experience? Please reply. Thanks!
