H1B-H4-Greencard-newlyweds...

I am right now on H1B visa and have plans to get married in the near
future. (december 2007 or summer 2008). My company will start the green card application process for me on or after January 2008.

What would be the best strategy to follow in regard to our visa applications ?

That is:

1)Will my wife still be elligible for a H4 visa after my green card application
is sent out? (i.e. I am planing to get married either December 2007 or
Summer 2008)

2)Will she be elligible for a green card application (follow-to-join?) as
soon as my application has been sent out?
That is: can both green card applications be processed simultaneously?
(does she have to wait for her application until I receive the green card)

3) I am debating between these two options. And have no clue which option
(if they exist) would be less painful in terms of legal procedures...

Option 1: She comes here as a H4 dependent (if still elligible for an H4
visa after my green card application has been sent out) and then applies
for a green card in USA?
Option 2: She applies for a green card in Turkey (after I receive the green
card or as my green card application processes, if possible...).

I would greatly appreciate any input...
