I came to US in 2002 on a F1 visa. In 2006, I converted to H1 and have a I140 pending. With the hard economic times, theres a chance I might get laid off. If i cannot find another job, Id like to go back to school. Considering my employer has already filed i140, would i be able to change my status back to f1? i know it 'll be impossible to stamp a f1 visa on my stamp due to the i140 immigration intent, but id just want to change my status to f1.
