Hi, My H1 ext was filed in Nebraska on 23Aug04 and now after 145 days I get the status email that its been transfered may be becaz I work in NYC. The status states "On January 7, 2005, we transferred your I129 PETITION FOR A
NONIMMIGRANT WORKER to an office in VERMONT SERVICE CENTER for processing. Our
office in VERMONT SERVICE CENTER will send you a written decision as soon
as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you
that your case has been transferred to a local office."
I dont understand how much time this local office will take to process my application. I can not even track the processing date now.
Please advice how long this will take as i need to make urgent trip to India.
