H1 6 years expiring - Can I change status to L2 EAD and continue to work ?

Hi,

My 6 years of H1 (3 yrs on L1, then 3 on H1) are going to expire in July 2007. Is it possible for me to switch to L2 (spouse is on L1) and then apply for EAD and continue with my employment ?

I still have not filed / started my green card process.
