Green Card Processing

Hello,

I need some help regarding my Green card Processing.

Currently I am about to apply for I-140 and my company started downsizing, meanwhile I got an opprunity in different location (different state) with the same employer. My question is,

If I move to the new location(Same employer, different state), I need to start the GC process right from the scratch or whether I can carry forward with the same GC processing?

In order to maintain the GC process

1) Is it possible to re-locate even before applying the I-140 (After Labor Certification is approved)
2) Is it possible to re-locate after applying the I-140?
3) Is it possible to re-locate after I-140 is approved?
4) Is it possible to re-locate after I-485 is applied?

Thanks
Mahesh

As far as I know one can apply for LC from one's corporate office or from the branch where the employee is posted. I think you are fine with your application from the currect position if it your company's corporate office. I think you need to work for them from the place from where your I-485 is approved after the approval.

Please talk to an attorney about this.
