Got reply from USCIS on my I-485 inquiry

Filed an inquiry on my case (WAC02-046-5xxxx) three weeks ago. Received a reply two days ago.

There are 16 check box on various case stutus. The one they checked on for me stated as below:

"Other - We will request your file and will be assigned to an Officer for review. You will be notified by mail when a decision has been made."

What should I do at this point? Just wait or file another inquiry?

ND: Nov. 21, 2001
1FP: Jan 8, 2002
RFE: Nov. 5, 2002

No 2FP, no 2nd RFE.

I guess you are lucky!At least they replied your inquiry!
In my opnion you shoul give them some time to contact you...maybe 30 days...if they do not contact you, send them another inquiry...keep trying!Don"t give up!Good lucky!
 
Thank you Tata2003. Waiting 30 days before next inquiry seems to be fair. If they keep responding "Others" for me, I will send inquiry EVERYDAY till they send me for interview!
