Got my new I-94 from USCIS.

Finally, I had to take my approval notice to the USCIS. They issue me a new I-94 at the same day. I have it on my hand. But, my national passport is expired. I'm going to travel overseas soon to a different country. It's all understandable that I have to apply for Refugee Travel Document in order to comeback to US.
My questions is do I need to do any other paper work such as, re apply for EAD renewal and apply for Asylee benefits?- To getting a benefits is that a good idea or not?- I just resigned from the company i was working for. Does my unemployment effect my case history or is it fine?

All I know is that you don't need an EAD to work. Your unrestricted social security card and driving licence, and possibly your I94 (if they ask for it) are all you need to work. Your unemployment doesn't really pose a problem.

What about your passport? You should NOT renew it, at least not until you get your GC.

I agree that I don't think you should rush to renew your passport. Just get a RTD.

After you get a GC, if you really want to/need to renew your passport, it might be more forgivable.
