former employer cancelling H1

I switched job after 180 days of filing 485. My former employer who filed my GC, had not yet cancelled my H1,but now he informed me that he is doing so. Is there a guaranteed RFE, if he does so. Would it be better for me otherwise ie. if they don\'t cancel.

It is now 230 days since my 485 is filed.

May be you should inform INS first!

H-1 cancellation should NOT have any adverse

effect on your I-485 as long as you are working as per AC21 and using an EAD card.
